Catherine has had a longtime passion for jewelry. Taking metalsmithing classes in the eighties inspired her to design and create her own jewelry. Finding beautiful beads in her travels is what inspires her based on color, texture and shape. The stones come first, and the designs are born from what she finds interesting. Her unique jewelry is made with sterling silver, leather cord, and semi-precious gemstone beads. Her necklace pieces range from colorful, elegant statement pieces to clean, simple monochromatic designs. All of her stones are of a very good quality and she has a particular fondness for pearls of all types.
