Atlanta native Kristin Wilder graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgia State with a Bachelors Degree in Studio Art. Most of her childhood was spent on the banks of the Chattahoochee River digging in the mud and creating stories about the origins of the many treasures she found there. Working primarily in sterling silver, semiprecious stones, glass, and found objects her hand fabricated original designs have a natural and organic aesthetic inspired by her deep love of childhood imagination, folklore, and myths. Metal provides a unique opportunity that allows Kristin to create one of a kind, wearable pieces of art.

Currently, Kristin is honored and proud to serve as the Jewelry and Metalsmithing Department Coordinator and weekly metalsmithing instructor at Spruill Center for the Arts located in Dunwoody, GA.
